Margin Notes Coaching

One-to-one coaching

You don't need more advice. You need room to think.

Coaching for people who are good at their work and stuck about what comes next. We talk, you decide, and nothing is sold to you on the first call.

Not therapy, and not a promise of results. A thinking partner.

Sound familiar?

What people tell me in the first five minutes

  • “I'm good at my job. I just don't know if I want it any more.”

  • “Everyone thinks I've got this figured out.”

  • “I've made the same list of options for two years.”

  • “I got promoted and nobody told me how to lead.”

Example situations, written for this demo. Replace them with the ones your clients bring you.

How I work

Three things that stay the same in every session

You set the agenda

Each session starts with what's on your mind this week, not a script I bring.

Questions, not answers

My job is to ask the question you've been avoiding, then get out of the way.

One thing to try

Every session ends with one small, concrete thing you've chosen to do before the next.

About

Hi, I'm Your Name.

This is where your story goes: why you coach, who you coach best, and what you did before. Clients choose a coach they trust as a person, so write it the way you'd say it across a table.

Two or three short paragraphs is plenty. Specific beats impressive.

Your accreditation, e.g. ICF ACC. Only if you hold it.

Words from clients

In their words

“Client 1 — this is where your client's own words go, exactly as they wrote them.”

“Client 2 — a second real quote, with permission. Short and specific reads best.”

Questions

Before you book

Is coaching the same as therapy?

No. Coaching looks at where you are now and what you want next. If something you bring would be better served by a therapist, I'll say so.

What if I don't know what I want to work on?

That's the most common starting point. The free call is for exactly that.

Do we meet in person?

Sessions are on video or phone. Write here whether you also meet in person, and where.

Is it confidential?

Yes. What you say stays between us. Your privacy policy explains what happens to the details you send through this site.
